These antique telephones came from the 1930’s Cuyamaca (San Diego) rural telephone exchange
It would require 3 short rings on the party line to know that you were being called
The oval Western Electric D1 phone has all original straight rubber cords and
magneto box all made by Western Electric
All original condition
Along with the telephone comes a Kellog candlestick phone which reportedly came
from the switchboard and was converted to an operator transmitter only
The oval phone is a model D1 Western Electric with an E1 handset
The finish of both of the phones is good
The magneto box is in good condition even though the black paint is very worn.
