Date Listed: Jul-18-08 Inaugural meeting of Adult Survivors of Physical & Emotional Child Abuse. The group's goal is to serve as a safe place where adult survivors are able to discuss their experiences and survival/coping techniques with other survivors. This is an informal meeting where all are encouraged to express themselves. The organizer is a father and victim of physical and emotional abuse from his parents who struggles everyday with its consequences and long-lasting effects. Our first meeting will take place on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at 7pm. We'll have the room until 10pm but that doesn't mean you have to stay til then. The room accomodates up to 25 persons and is very private. Bring a friend survivor if you have someone in mind. You can talk, listen, or talk and listen. Absolutely no pressure.
