Title: IT Operations Analyst
Term:  1 year contract

Qualifications:
  • Specific technical qualifications should include experience with computing hardware and software, Wintel Server 2003 OS, Veritas Netbackup, Insight Manager, HP Server Hardware: DL360, DL560 and DL580.
  • Should be familiar with system software system administration tools and monitors
  • Candidate must be familiar with SAN Storage and it's configuration to both physical and virtual servers.
  • Candidate must have expertise at building servers and installing Windows Server 2003 operating system
  • Candidate must be familiar with automated server backup software.
  • Candidate must have experience with support server level hardware (not PC Support).
  • Candidate must have good verbal and written communication skills    
 
Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the Wintel Refresh Project Server Operating System Builds Windows Server 2003
  • Attaching SAN storge to physical and virtual servers Server Hardware Builds - HP Proliant DL360; DL380; DL580 Building and supporting Windows server sessions in the VMware environment
  • Managing Active Directory User accounts for assigned servers Granting user accounts to server resources as dictated by policy OS Patching of Operating Systems
  • Working USD Work Request Tickets from Application Developers and DBAs
  • Monitoring Systems via Insight Manager and Systems Center
  • Racking and Mounting of hardware in server racks Troubleshooting hardware and OS related problem
  • Analyzing and applying fixes for viruses
  • Assisting application groups with their software installations as require Verifying builds before transfer of server to application and DBA groups
  • Performing Hardware and OS Refresh for legacy servers Installing and transfer of servers to and from remote sites.
