Date Listed: Jul-11-08 I have a 3 year old male Senegal who I have had since he was a baby. He was the perfect bird until he out-of-the-blue became terrified of me. He is not the least bit agressive and has never tried to bite me, but is just flighty. I have tried to work through his issues but with a new baby I just don't have time... It breaks my heart to see him in his cage all day every day, only because he is scared of me. I am looking for the PERFECT home for him. Like I said, he is my baby and I want to do what is best for him. I will not just sell him to whoever has the money... I want to find the right person for him. The ideal home would be with someone who either has a Senegal already and just wants a companion/mate for their's... Or someone who wants a project bird and has time and patience and a gentle nature. He is beautiful, and at 3 years of age just coming into sexual maturity so he could be used as a breeder. He has had a recent vet visit (C/S, bloodwork, and Polyoma vaccine) and his price is to mainly cover that... Please, only inquire if you can SERIOUSLY provide this guy a loving home, not because you want a "cheap" parrot. Thanks!
