Date Listed: Jul-10-08 This is Marley, our loving female red nose pit, we are heartbroken to have to part with her, she just turned 1 in June is up to date on all her shots and is fixed... She is a wonderful sweet dog, great with kids and cats, we have a 5 yr old son and 3 small kittens. She is house broken and loves going to the beach and the park. We aren't sure how she will do with other dogs, she seems to do well with other pits but gets squirly around other types of dogs. Our situation has changed and we unfortunately cannot keep her, the house we have been renting for a long time and thought we could rent for a lot longer is going into forclosure due to the owners not paying the mortgage for the last 5 months. We will be moving mid to late Aug and would like to try and find her a home before then as we cannot take her with us. We would really like to find a family that will keep in contact with us letting us know how she is doing or at the very least send us pics via e-mail every now and again. She is a timid dog at first and can take a little while to warm up to people but once she does she is deffinately a lover. She sleeps in my son's room or in our bed, she doesn't realize she's a big dog lol. The adoption fee is $300 but is NEGOTIABLE for the right family and is fair since we've paid for all of her medical, shots and spayed and she will be coming with all of her things (WHICH ADD UP TO OVER $200), her large food dish set that holds food and water and food storage underneath, her two outdoor dishes, about half of her large bag of food or whatever is left when she finds a home, a gentle harness lead, a nice collar, two great toys, poop bag holder that clips onto leash, 1 chain leash, 1 nylon leash that has two handles, one close to the hook so you can hold her closer to you, and one professional nylon wind up leash with lock, I have a no barking spray collar that has never been used as with her it has never been needed, a collapsable travel water bowl, a indoor pee pad that is washable and she will use if she is ever left indoors for too long, I am also sending her with her favorite blanket it's a pink dora blanket that I made for her and she loves laying on it and sleeping on it. My biggest concern is finding her a good home with a loving family and a big back yard. Please let me know if you are interested in adopting our Marley.
