Selecting the right daycare is a challenge for any parent, but more so for parents of special needs children. I made a promise to my special needs son of 8yrs that I hope no parent has to go through the nightmares that I went through while he was in a daycare. It would sadden me every time I would call to see how he was doing, they said "fine." How can someone who is speech delayed, sensory issues, be just "FINE," everyday? Then I would find him in the corner with cars lined up all by himself. There are only a few childcare centers equipped and staffed to do the job. I have opened up a home Preschool/Daycare in Carmel Valley off the 56. I provide convenient hours and welcome outside therapist to visit your little one while you are away. I have a sensory room, I am certified in Itsy Bitsy Yoga, Masters degree in Psychology, if your little one enjoys Gluten/Whey/Sugar free foods no problem! With my son being on the spectrum I continue to work closely with many experts, certified teachers, and other professionals.
