This course is designed for the budding photographer interested in learning the basic principles of photography using a D-SLR. Through Johan’s years of knowledge he will teach you all about your camera, beginning at the basics of its operation to using it effectively in any kind of situation. He will also go in depth on photography concepts such as aperture, shutter speed, depth of field and how to use your flash effectively. $200/4hrs

Location Lighting Work-out!
When it comes to location lighting, a photographer can be put in a wide range of situations where he needs to make the right decision in order to get the shot done. In this highly practical workshop, students will learn how to get ready, react and make the right choices when a challenging situation presents itself. Practical tips will be given on how to approach every assignment the right way, from using off camera speedlight to location power pack, to talking a stubborn subject into being more flexible with time, position, location, etc. $200/4hrs

Raw Digital Negative
This course is intended for users of any level, from beginner to advanced. The sessions are completely tailored to the specific needs of each individual. Bring your camera! First we’ll capture the images in your cameras RAW mode and develop them within Adobe Lightroom®. Workflow coverage includes evaluating the histogram, camera profiles, image globalization, color balance, adjusting contrast, curves, sharpening, etc. $200/4hrs
