Great opportunity to make some extra money.



Part-time bus driver needed for Thursday – Saturday driving. Must have (at minimum) Class B CDL License with Air-Brake and Passenger endorsements. Also must have valid medical filed with DMV.

Drivers with Prior experience driving Transit buses preferred. We will be running Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights from 8pm to 2:30am. Driver will be accompanied by ticket collector on all routes so that they can focus on driving. Drivers will be required to take a count of passengers at each pick-up. Bus will run same route multiple times per night.



Skills Required:

* Reaction Time - The ability to quickly respond (with the hand, finger, or foot) to one signal (sound, light, picture, etc.) when it appears.
* Far and Near Vision - The ability to see things close at hand (such as signs) or at a distance.
* Social Perceptiveness - Being aware of others' reactions and understanding why they react the way they do.
* Operation and Control - Controlling operations of equipment or systems.
* Equipment Maintenance - Performing routine maintenance and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.



What Does the Job Pay?

Pay will depend on experience but will be between $14.00 and $21.00/hr worked. We’d prefer a High School diploma but adequate experience can suffice. Bus training is also a plus.



Licensing and Certification – Must have this in place prior to applying.

To qualify for the required Class B permit and license to carry passengers, applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment physical examination and must have good eyesight with or without corrective lenses. Bus Drivers need a physical exam every two years. The legal minimum age is 18 to drive a bus within the State.
