Bichon Frise - Small - Adult - Male - Dog - Montague

We must have an application from you in order to answer any questions. Montague is a male bichon frise/poodle mix, 5 yrs young and weighs 15 lbs. He's a very handsome boy! Good with kids, but not a 'rowdy' kid household please. Fostered in a home with 4yr old & 14 month old girls and plays nice with them. No cats. Good with other dogs when introduced properly (he is fostered here with 3 other dogs and gets along just fine). They all share the dog food bowl. Loves people and to be a companion. Very loyal and motivated to please. Montague uses a doggie door, walks well on leash, but will bark at other dogs (like most small dogs do). Montague is spayed and UTD on shots. All of our dogs are in private volunteer foster homes, and as such the individuals most qualified to answer any questions regarding the dog would be the family that they have been living with! We do not have a central shelter or kennel locations - you must make a private one-on-one meet and greet appointment with each individual dog at the foster family's convenience. To protect our foster families' privacy, we must have an APPROVED adoption application on file before we release their contact information. All of our dogs are fixed (spayed/neutered) and UTD on shots before adoption. We have a 2 week foster-to-adopt period, during which time the adoption fee is fully refundable if the dog is returned. At the end of the 2 week FTA period, a volunteer will do a home visit to finalize the adoption. Adoption fees vary from dog-to-dog, but generally range from $150 - $200.
