Boxer - Large - Adult - Male - Dog - Jack Fellow
Description
Please download our adoption application and submit completed applications to SDSecondChance@gmail.com with the dog's name in the subject. We must have an application from you in order to answer any questions. Our listings are updated multiple times a day. If a dog is listed, the dog is still available. For the quickiest processing time, please include a completed application in your initial email to us. All applications will be processed within 3 business days. Jack Fellow is a beautiful, male, Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, about 5-6 yrs young and weighs about 75lbs. Jack Fellow is a very loving and sweet dog! He is house trained, neutered and fully vaccinated. Jack Fellow suffered abuse from his prior owner and can be timid and shy upon meeting others, until he knows that he is safe and will not be hurt. He walks well on a leash, does fine at the dog park, and gets along with other socialized dogs. He is truly a good tempered guy who is looking for a family to help him trust and love more. Jack is easily frightened by strangers and needs someone who understands how to work with him gradually -- he trusts women quicker than men. Overall though, this is really a great dog that deserves a great home! Ready to give this guy the home he really deserves? Just contact us to meet him. All of our dogs are in private volunteer foster homes, and as such the individuals most qualified to answer any questions regarding the dog would be the family that they have been living with! We do not have a central shelter or kennel locations - you must make a private one-on-one meet and greet appointment with each individual dog at the foster family's convenience. To protect our foster families' privacy, we must have an APPROVED adoption application on file before we release their contact information. All of our dogs are fixed (spayed/neutered) and UTD on shots before adoption. We have a 2 week foster-to-adopt period, during which time the adoption fee is fully refundable if the dog is returned. At the end of the 2 week FTA period, a volunteer will do a home visit to finalize the adoption. Adoption fees vary from dog-to-dog, but generally range from $150 - $200. Please note that an approved application DOES NOT guarantee that the dog will be placed with you. The final decision rests with our fosters as they know the dogs the best, and please be aware that there may be other applicants interested in the same dog. We continue accepting applications on a dog until the dog is with the new adoptive family in their home.
