Description

Chihuahua - Small - Adult - Female - Dog - Geyser
Description
* { font:inherit; } Please contact Sandra (sandradsimpson@cox.net) for more information about this pet. Please download our adoption application and submit completed applications to SDSecondChance@gmail.com with the dog's name in the subject.  We must have an application from you in order to answer any questions. Geyser is a female chihuahua, about 8 years old. The word geyser is defined as a spring that emits intermittent jets of water.  This Geyser takes her name seriously, preferring to lift both hind legs in the air while peeing.  She's a low key dog.  Her likes?  Spending quiet hours lounging in a sun spot, sitting on your lap in front of the TV, or sniffing a patch of grass.  Her dislikes?  Long hikes (unless you want to add an extra ix pounds to your backpack), the cold and damp (lucky she lives in San Diego), and spending long periods of time without human compansionship.  Geyser is fickle when it comes to other dogs -- loving to play with some and running in the other direction from others, but it doesn't take her long to make this distinction.  She's a quiet dog herself (rarely a bark from her) and seems to take the quickes to quiet people. Geyser would be a great pal for someone who wants more a low maintenance, cuddler in their life!  She is spayed and UTD on shots.  If you would like to meet this little cutie, please contact us.All of our dogs are in private volunteer foster homes, and as such the individuals most qualified to answer any questions regarding the dog would be the family that they have been living with!  We do not have a central shelter or kennel locations - you must make a private one-on-one meet and greet appointment with each individual dog at the foster family's convenience.  To protect our foster families' privacy, we must have an APPROVED adoption application on file before we release their contact information. All of our dogs are fixed (spayed/neutered) and UTD on shots before adoption. We have a 2 week foster-to-adopt period, during which time the adoption fee is fully refundable if the dog is returned. At the end of the 2 week FTA period, a volunteer will do a home visit to finalize the adoption. Adoption fees vary from dog-to-dog, but generally range from $150 - $200.
