Description
Please download our adoption application and submit completed applications to SDSecondChance@gmail.com with the dog's name in the subject. We must have an application from you in order to answer any questions. Our listings are updated multiple times a day. If a dog is listed, the dog is still available. For the quickiest processing time, please include a completed application in your initial email to us. All applications will be processed within 3 business days. Tully is a female chi/jack russell mix, 5 yrs young and a cutie! Tully loves to workout by going for walks. She is fully potty trained and does ok being left alone. I took her on a few dog-friendly errands this afternoon and it seems that she was really enjoying it. Her favorite place to be is with you snuggled warm and secure. Tully would be a great dog for someone who would like a very independent animal. She has a mind of her own and she's not changing it for no one. She puts up with the other dogs being in the house, but really would like to find a great home where she is the only dog. She does guard 'her' food and bed so she wouldn't do well in a home with young kids. Other then those issues, she is a good and loyal dog. When she likes you, your're her best friend. Just look at those oversized ears and eyes, they are adorable and she looks at you with such expression. She is crate trained, spayed and UTD on shots. Want to meet this gal? Just contact us. All of our dogs are in private volunteer foster homes, and as such the individuals most qualified to answer any questions regarding the dog would be the family that they have been living with! We do not have a central shelter or kennel locations - you must make a private one-on-one meet and greet appointment with each individual dog at the foster family's convenience. To protect our foster families' privacy, we must have an APPROVED adoption application on file before we release their contact information. All of our dogs are fixed (spayed/neutered) and UTD on shots before adoption. We have a 2 week foster-to-adopt period, during which time the adoption fee is fully refundable if the dog is returned. At the end of the 2 week FTA period, a volunteer will do a home visit to finalize the adoption. Adoption fees vary from dog-to-dog, but generally range from $150 - $200. Please note that an approved application DOES NOT guarantee that the dog will be placed with you. The final decision rests with our fosters as they know the dogs the best, and please be aware that there may be other applicants interested in the same dog. We continue accepting applications on a dog until the dog is with the new adoptive family in their home. .
