We must have an application from you in order to answer any questions. This is Mattson - a confused soul who needs some patience and understading. Mattson doesn't know that human beings will be nice to him so when you approach him he cringes, runs away. He wants to be your friend..he wants desperately to believe you won't hurt him....but he is so scared! He needs that special sort of person who can love him and understand with lots of patience so that he can learn that some humans are really not so bad. Mattson is about 3 years old and is a chi mix. He is neutered & UTD on shots. Want to teach Mattson what a good relationship is? Just contact us to meet him.All of our dogs are in private volunteer foster homes, and as such the individuals most qualified to answer any questions regarding the dog would be the family that they have been living with! We do not have a central shelter or kennel locations - you must make a private one-on-one meet and greet appointment with each individual dog at the foster family's convenience. To protect our foster families' privacy, we must have an APPROVED adoption application on file before we release their contact information. All of our dogs are fixed (spayed/neutered) and UTD on shots before adoption. We have a 2 week foster-to-adopt period, during which time the adoption fee is fully refundable if the dog is returned. At the end of the 2 week FTA period, a volunteer will do a home visit to finalize the adoption. Adoption fees vary from dog-to-dog, but generally range from $150 - $200.
