We must have an application from you in order to answer any questions. Our listings are updated multiple times a day. If a dog is listed, the dog is still available. For the quickiest processing time, please include a completed application in your initial email to us. All applications will be processed within 3 business days. Mr. Bill is 18 lbs, neutered male Chihuahua/terrier mix, black smooth coat with mottled gray & white feet and gray muzzle. We think he is about 4-5 yrs young. He does very well in his foster home with her grandkids and other dogs. He's a velcro type dog or as his foster mom says 'a real ladies' man' as he is by his foster mom's side all the time. Very peaceful and mellow in the house. Mr. Bill is a very loyal to his family. Because of that, outside in public, he will be protective of his family members and bark at other dogs. He is not aggressive, just a bodyguard. Quick correction and he stops - it's just about consistency & reassuring him that things are ok. Very sweet guy that would be your most caring companion! All of our dogs are in private volunteer foster homes, and as such the individuals most qualified to answer any questions regarding the dog would be the family that they have been living with! We do not have a central shelter or kennel locations - you must make a private one-on-one meet and greet appointment with each individual dog at the foster family's convenience. To protect our foster families' privacy, we must have an APPROVED adoption application on file before we release their contact information. All of our dogs are fixed (spayed/neutered) and UTD on shots before adoption. We have a 2 week foster-to-adopt period, during which time the adoption fee is fully refundable if the dog is returned. At the end of the 2 week FTA period, a volunteer will do a home visit to finalize the adoption. Adoption fees vary from dog-to-dog, but generally range from $150 - $200. Please note that an approved application DOES NOT guarantee that the dog will be placed with you. The final decision rests with our fosters as they know the dogs the best, and please be aware that there may be other applicants interested in the same dog. We continue accepting applications on a dog until the dog is with the new adoptive family in their home.
