We must have an application from you in order to answer any questions. This wonderful girl is Prada, a female chihuahua, about 2 yrs old. Prada was found bleeding to death in a dumpster and was rescued by Second Chance and rehabilitated. After months of love and attention, she is now ready to go into a special home -- ideally one that is quieter and preferably an adult home. Prada currently let's the 4 yr old pick her up and cuddle with her so she could live ok with a patient child. She really tends to be a one person gal as she follows her foster mom everywhere. She also does fine with other dogs. She is very petite and gets along well with everyone which is a miracle considering her past. When we first met Prada she was terrified of people beyond belief, but with the love and care of her foster mama she has truly blossomed into a loving little lap dog! She is spayed and UTD on shots. Just contact us.All of our dogs are in private volunteer foster homes, and as such the individuals most qualified to answer any questions regarding the dog would be the family that they have been living with! We do not have a central shelter or kennel locations - you must make a private one-on-one meet and greet appointment with each individual dog at the foster family's convenience. To protect our foster families' privacy, we must have an APPROVED adoption application on file before we release their contact information. All of our dogs are fixed (spayed/neutered) and UTD on shots before adoption. We have a 2 week foster-to-adopt period, during which time the adoption fee is fully refundable if the dog is returned. At the end of the 2 week FTA period, a volunteer will do a home visit to finalize the adoption. Adoption fees vary from dog-to-dog, but generally range from $150 - $200.
