Meet Lucas the friendly and fun chihuahua.  He is 1 yr old and is full grown at about 10lbs. Lucas is a macho guy and will stand up to big dogs as he is not afraid of them at all! He does not start fights with them, but he does act tough.  Would be a fun addition to any family! He is neutered and is UTD on his shots. If you are interested please contact Jim at jimelser@yahoo.com or by calling 619-988-2020 (email is preferred) All of our dogs are in private volunteer foster homes, and as such the individuals most qualified to answer any questions regarding the dog would be the family that they have been living with!  We do not have a central shelter or kennel locations - you must make a private one-on-one meet and greet appointment with each individual dog at the foster family's convenience.  To protect our foster families' privacy, we must have an APPROVED adoption application on file before we release their contact information. All of our dogs are fixed (spayed/neutered) and UTD on shots before adoption. We have a 2 week foster-to-adopt period, during which time the adoption fee is fully refundable if the dog is returned. At the end of the 2 week FTA period, a volunteer will do a home visit to finalize the adoption. Adoption fees vary from dog-to-dog, but generally range from $150 - $200.
