Pixie (black) and Dixie (white) are a bonded pair of spayed 7yo female Cockapoo/Lhasa Apso mixes that need to be adopted together. Right now they weigh about 28 lbs -- down from the 32 lbs they were so they are getting their girlish figures back. Their owner pass ways and are now looking for their new, loving home. They adore getting any kind of time on a lap even though they are not really small enough to be lap dogs. They are watcher/observer dogs...always butt-to-butt or side-by-side, keeping an eye on the activity around them. Show them leashes however, and they turn into bouncing gamboling lambs, hoping for outdoor walks and a ride in the car. I think of them as my black jade and ivory white 'Fu Dogs', and someone will be very lucky to get them! They are housebroken, fixed and UTD on shots. Want this sweet duo to live with you? Contact us to meet them.All of our dogs are in private volunteer foster homes, and as such the individuals most qualified to answer any questions regarding the dog would be the family that they have been living with! We do not have a central shelter or kennel locations - you must make a private one-on-one meet and greet appointment with each individual dog at the foster family's convenience. To protect our foster families' privacy, we must have an APPROVED adoption application on file before we release their contact information. All of our dogs are fixed (spayed/neutered) and UTD on shots before adoption. We have a 2 week foster-to-adopt period, during which time the adoption fee is fully refundable if the dog is returned. At the end of the 2 week FTA period, a volunteer will do a home visit to finalize the adoption. Adoption fees vary from dog-to-dog, but generally range from $150 - $200.
