Lorelei is a beautiful 5 year old red short-haired dachshund, and weighs 20lbs.  She's had a lot of major changes in her life recently, so she is a bit shy and touchy currently, but she is in a loving foster home that hopes to bring her out of our shell soon!  Lorelei is very respectful of other dogs, but hyper little puppies tend to annoy her.  She has also been cat-tested and passed!  Lorelei is spayed & UTD on shots - contact us if you would like to meet her! All of our dogs are in private volunteer foster homes, and as such the individuals most qualified to answer any questions regarding the dog would be the family that they have been living with!  We do not have a central shelter or kennel locations - you must make a private one-on-one meet and greet appointment with each individual dog at the foster family's convenience.  To protect our foster families' privacy, we must have an APPROVED adoption application on file before we release their contact information. All of our dogs are fixed (spayed/neutered) and UTD on shots before adoption. We have a 2 week foster-to-adopt period, during which time the adoption fee is fully refundable if the dog is returned. At the end of the 2 week FTA period, a volunteer will do a home visit to finalize the adoption. Adoption fees vary from dog-to-dog, but generally range from $150 - $200.
