Nanook is a beautiful male German Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix, 7 yrs young, weighs 60 lbs. He came to the shelter as a stray on May 10th.  Nanook is described as a great all around dog!  He is calm and affectionate and loving.  He walks perfectly on a leash and gets along well with other dogs and is cat friendly.  He is housebroken and has great manners! Nanook would make a fantastic companion for any family!  He is neutered and UTD on shots.  If you want to meet this sweetie, please contact us.All of our dogs are in private volunteer foster homes, and as such the individuals most qualified to answer any questions regarding the dog would be the family that they have been living with!  We do not have a central shelter or kennel locations - you must make a private one-on-one meet and greet appointment with each individual dog at the foster family's convenience.  To protect our foster families' privacy, we must have an APPROVED adoption application on file before we release their contact information. All of our dogs are fixed (spayed/neutered) and UTD on shots before adoption. We have a 2 week foster-to-adopt period, during which time the adoption fee is fully refundable if the dog is returned. At the end of the 2 week FTA period, a volunteer will do a home visit to finalize the adoption. Adoption fees vary from dog-to-dog, but generally range from $150 - $200.
