A super sweet mother and daughter duo - lab/beagle mixes, weigh about 35-40 lbs.  They were the personal dogs of one of our fosters who recently passed away.  He cared very much for these dogs and all of the many dogs that he fostered.  He helped save many lives.  We would like to see Milly and Gorda stay together as they have never been separated.  They are good with kids and dogs.  They are UTD on shots and are spayed. They are looking for a new loving home and will give you lots of love in return! If you are interested in adopting or fostering them please contact Jim at jmelser@yahoo.com or call 619-988-2020 All of our dogs are in private volunteer foster homes, and as such the individuals most qualified to answer any questions regarding the dog would be the family that they have been living with!  We do not have a central shelter or kennel locations - you must make a private one-on-one meet and greet appointment with each individual dog at the foster family's convenience.  To protect our foster families' privacy, we must have an APPROVED adoption application on file before we release their contact information. All of our dogs are fixed (spayed/neutered) and UTD on shots before adoption. We have a 2 week foster-to-adopt period, during which time the adoption fee is fully refundable if the dog is returned. At the end of the 2 week FTA period, a volunteer will do a home visit to finalize the adoption. Adoption fees vary from dog-to-dog, but generally range from $150 - $200.
