Meet Shorty, a very sweet lab mix girl that got her name because she has a very short tail. She is very well behaved and the foster has never heard her bark. Shorty is 2 years old and weighs about 30 lbs, spayed and UTD on shots. She gets along well with other dogs and children. Shorty is a very friendly and active girl. She would be perfect for an active family or someone who likes to go on walks and runs. She likes to be a part of the family and is a great gal! All of our dogs are in private volunteer foster homes, and as such the individuals most qualified to answer any questions regarding the dog would be the family that they have been living with! We do not have a central shelter or kennel locations - you must make a private one-on-one meet and greet appointment with each individual dog at the foster family's convenience. To protect our foster families' privacy, we must have an APPROVED adoption application on file before we release their contact information. All of our dogs are fixed (spayed/neutered) and UTD on shots before adoption. We have a 2 week foster-to-adopt period, during which time the adoption fee is fully refundable if the dog is returned. At the end of the 2 week FTA period, a volunteer will do a home visit to finalize the adoption. Adoption fees vary from dog-to-dog, but generally range from $150 - $200.
