Jody is a female, lab/sharpei mix, 1 yr old and weighs about 36 lbs -- is most likely done growing. Jody is a very active and playful dog -- still has a lot of puppy exuberance! She does get along with other dogs, but tends to be a bossy alpha female and wants to play nonstop. She is looking for an active household that she can play with, go on walks with, etc. and try to tire her out -- we know that there is a family out there where Jody would make a great fit!  She would probably be so happy to find a human companion that loves to take her on runs or jogs daily.  Jody would do better with older kids. Want to consider her for your family?  Contact us to meet her.All of our dogs are in private volunteer foster homes, and as such the individuals most qualified to answer any questions regarding the dog would be the family that they have been living with!  We do not have a central shelter or kennel locations - you must make a private one-on-one meet and greet appointment with each individual dog at the foster family's convenience.  To protect our foster families' privacy, we must have an APPROVED adoption application on file before we release their contact information. All of our dogs are fixed (spayed/neutered) and UTD on shots before adoption. We have a 2 week foster-to-adopt period, during which time the adoption fee is fully refundable if the dog is returned. At the end of the 2 week FTA period, a volunteer will do a home visit to finalize the adoption. Adoption fees vary from dog-to-dog, but generally range from $150 - $200.
