We must have an application from you in order to answer any questions. George is a cute miniature pinscher/chihuahua mix, 5 yrs young and weighs about 8.5 lbs. He has the head and face of a chi, but the body and gait of a pin. He has a lovely disposition. I have never enjoyed a foster the way we have enjoyed having George here. He is a very affectionate and sweet tempered boy. He is a little timid with children and strangers, but once he warms up he is fine! George has the cutest little dance he does when he wants you to pick him up. He does very well with small dogs and loves the park. He is also cat friendly. George is completely house trained, walks very well on his leash and rides beautifully in the car. He would make a great companion for a single person or perhaps a retired couple. He does need walks and excercise, but he isn't a very high energy dog. He loves to cuddle on the couch and take naps. George is neutered and UTD on shots. Want him to come live with you? All of our dogs are in private volunteer foster homes, and as such the individuals most qualified to answer any questions regarding the dog would be the family that they have been living with! We do not have a central shelter or kennel locations - you must make a private one-on-one meet and greet appointment with each individual dog at the foster family's convenience. To protect our foster families' privacy, we must have an APPROVED adoption application on file before we release their contact information. All of our dogs are fixed (spayed/neutered) and UTD on shots before adoption. We have a 2 week foster-to-adopt period, during which time the adoption fee is fully refundable if the dog is returned. At the end of the 2 week FTA period, a volunteer will do a home visit to finalize the adoption. Adoption fees vary from dog-to-dog, but generally range from $150 - $200.
