Pug - Small - Senior - Female - Dog - Miss Petunia

Petunia is estimated to be between 8 and 10 years of age, but as she was picked up running loose in LA, we're not really sure. She is in good health, but does have some special needs. Petunia has a neurological problem in her back that causes her hind legs to be wobbly, but this does not cause her any pain, and she gets around just fine. Stairs are a bit tough, so perhaps a home with few stairs, or a Super Pug Parent who doesn't mind carrying her up and down stairs would be great. This problem doesn't even really require any treatment - she is currently on prednisone to see if it helps, but this is inexpensive and we're still not sure if we are going to continue them. Petunia wouldn't be a great walking companion because of her back, but she'd surely love to go for rides in a Pug Stroller! Petunia gets along great with other dogs, cats, and kids. She is also super skilled at making sure your doggie beds stay in place, and she is a great napper! Petunia loves to cuddle, and will sit on your lap for hours, and she doesn't have many of the problems that plague pups of the younger generation. She doesn't dig, won't chew things up, only barks every now and again to remind you that she's around, and she won't jump on the furniture! Of course, she does love to sit on your lap on the couch, but she'll need a helping hand to get up there. Petunia is a lovely girl, very calm, and she has lots of love to give and many years left to give it. Please consider making Petunia part of your family.
