We must have an application from you in order to answer any questions. Black Beauty is a female retreiver mix, 7 yrs young and so sweet! She weighs about 70 lbs and could stand to lose a few pounds so foster mom has her on a diet. Black Beauty is totally housebroken, walks beautifully on the leash and has a medium energy level. She loves to go on long walks with her foster mom which they do 3 times a day. Her foster mom says she is absolutely a fantastic girl! She is very affectionate and does well with other dogs - she doesn't seem to chase after cats so may do ok with them. She has the sweetest nature, follows her foster mom around and just wants companionship and love. Black Beauty knows how to sit, shake and stay. She does resource guard with bones so care should be taken, but she is very responsive and obedient and just wants to please. Whomever decides to adopt this girl will be very lucky! She is spayed and UTD on shots. Want to meet her? Just contact us.All of our dogs are in private volunteer foster homes, and as such the individuals most qualified to answer any questions regarding the dog would be the family that they have been living with! We do not have a central shelter or kennel locations - you must make a private one-on-one meet and greet appointment with each individual dog at the foster family's convenience. To protect our foster families' privacy, we must have an APPROVED adoption application on file before we release their contact information. All of our dogs are fixed (spayed/neutered) and UTD on shots before adoption. We have a 2 week foster-to-adopt period, during which time the adoption fee is fully refundable if the dog is returned. At the end of the 2 week FTA period, a volunteer will do a home visit to finalize the adoption. Adoption fees vary from dog-to-dog, but generally range from $150 - $200.
