Meet Doris a sweet and playful adult Rottweiler/lab mix that weighs about 45 lbs.  She is such a sweet and kind girl!  Doris is an alpha girl so generally she doesn't do well with other dogs who want to exert their dominance.  She's just picky on who her friends are!She is good with dogs once she can assert her dominance over them, but is not exerting aggression. She absolutely loves kids and is so friendly towards all people. Doris would be a great companion for the right family! If you are interested in meeting her please contact Jim at jimelser@yahoo.com.All of our dogs are in private volunteer foster homes, and as such the individuals most qualified to answer any questions regarding the dog would be the family that they have been living with!  We do not have a central shelter or kennel locations - you must make a private one-on-one meet and greet appointment with each individual dog at the foster family's convenience.  To protect our foster families' privacy, we must have an APPROVED adoption application on file before we release their contact information. All of our dogs are fixed (spayed/neutered) and UTD on shots before adoption. We have a 2 week foster-to-adopt period, during which time the adoption fee is fully refundable if the dog is returned. At the end of the 2 week FTA period, a volunteer will do a home visit to finalize the adoption. Adoption fees vary from dog-to-dog, but generally range from $150 - $200.
