Leading medical device firm in northern San Diego County seeks Principal ERP Business Analyst - ORACLE.

Summary: This senior IT position will serve as the primary liaison between the technical delivery teams and the global business users engaged in Order to Cash activities.

Work directly with clients to i) assess & represent their needs ii) evaluate & recommend enterprise-wide packaged application solutions iii) provide thought leadership & ownership to deploying new functionality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Consult with Customer Service and Accounts Receivable users about business requirements for ERP system.
· Create business processes that optimize the efficiencies of a global organization on a single instance ERP system.
· Task ownership for ERP implementation activities such as test scripts, issue resolution, project documentation, custom report development, data conversion and knowledge transfer.
· Foster an effective working rapport with business managers, IT support organization and external consultants.
· Provide thought leadership on the use of Oracle AIM System Development Life Cycle Methodology.
· Provide senior level skills for the set-up and configuration of the Oracle eBS R12 product.
· Help troubleshoot problems with systems, and drive issue resolution to effective conclusion especially those that impact order fulfillment.
· Work in a global environment with +20% International travel required.

Computer Skills:
· Deep knowledge of Oracle eBS 11i or R12 including (but not limited to); TCA, Advanced pricing, OM, Configurator, Invoicing, AR processing, and Workflow.
· OBIee reporting (including the use of Noetix views) preferred
· Shipping systems & Import/export systems

Education/Experience:
Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent combination of education and computer experience required.


· 10+ years experience with business information systems in a mixed

* Global single instance Oracle eBS implementation experience required.
* Larger organization / multi-divisional experience.


· Life sciences / medical device a plus



Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.

Math Ability:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
