NOTE: It is HIGHLY recommended that you house your new rabbit indoors. Rabbits are prey animals and San Diego County is home to many predator animals such as hawks, owls, coyotes, raccoons, foxes and bob cats, all of which kill small animals left outside (even rabbits kept in a cage or hutch). Wet or hot weather and parasites such as fleas, flies, and mosquitoes also can be deadly to rabbits. You can easily house your rabbit indoors and make him a part of your family. He will live a much longer and healthier life, and you will enjoy him so much more. Davey's adoption fee is only $20! So named for the hero of the movie, 'Pirates of the Caribbean', he is a cute male bunny. Davey is the smaller-framed bunny. Davey has white with black spots, a black stripe down the middle of his back and a touch of brown on the back of his ears which looks so cute. He came in with Captain, they were in a box together, so we assume they are siblings. Davey is the adventurous bunny at the shelter. They need an exercise pen at least three feet tall as they are expert jumpers. Davey's ID no. is A101807.
